Outside the Binary är en serie porträtt av människor som identifierar sig utanför det könsbinära. För vissa kan detta innebära att ha både en manlig och kvinnlig identitet, eller något däremellan. En möjlig definition är ”genderfluid”, vilket syftar på att könsidentiteten varierar över tid – man kan växla mellan att känna sig mer manlig eller kvinnlig, men också androgyn eller neutral.
