The Analects

The Analects encapsulate the philosophy of Confucius, one of the most revered thinkers of the ancient world. Espousing the ideals of wisdom, self-knowledge, courage, and love of one's fellow man, Confucius argued that the pursuit of virtue should be every individual's supreme goal. The key to living such a life is following the Way - a path to the truth.
