This Tennessee hickory handle is the replacement handle for the CRKT® Cimbri™ axe. It's made in the USA and sealed with a lacquer coat that adds durability when you're in the backcountry. To replace the handle, remove the old handle by carefully placing the butt of the old handle on the ground and tapping the head of the axe with a mallet until it slides down. To put the new handle on, slide the head onto the handle from the tapered end until it is seated on the thicker end of the handle. Next, hold the handle of the axe with the head down and hit the ground or a hard surface sharply several times to seat the head onto the handle. About the Forged By War® Program In 2013, Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical, designer of elite, military, tactical tomahawks, approached CRKT® with the news that he had been working with a few combat veterans that had returned from war with varying degrees of post-traumatic stress (PTS). To help work through their challenges, they have been designing and forging steel into custom tools. Drawing from their experience earned in combat situations, they have been creating tools they wished they had available to them in the battlefield. CRKT® cares deeply about our returning veterans and we saw a way to give back to the community that created them. In 2016, we launched the Forged By War® program. These are mission ready tools, designed by warriors, with a portion of the CRKT profits donated back to the veterans' charity of choice. Vår Eat'NTool® är skapad av designern Liong Mah från Palm Bay, FL. Vid första anblicken ser det ut som den välbekanta sked/gaffel "spork"-kombinationen, men Liong har använt sin uppfinningsrikedom och datorstödda designfärdigheter för att skapa ett lättviktigt, högteknologiskt utomhusverktyg. Ja, det finns en ergonomisk sked och en kortjusterad gaffel. Men dessutom finns det en praktisk flasköppnare på ena sidan för din öl som passar till middagen.den högra sidan av handtaget är slipad för att ge ett nödskruvmejselblad och fungerar även som ett bände för att öppna behållare. Kit Karson har designat denna CRKT M16-modell, tack vare att kniven har det inbyggda AutoLAWKS-låset så klarar kniven högre belastningar. När du öppnar upp kniven så spärras bladet med både Locking Liner-låset samt att spärren i AutoLAWKS-låset aktiveras. Tack vare AutoLAWKS-låset så kommer inte kniven att stängas igenom av misstag. Låsfunktionen är patenterad enligt U.S. Patent 7,437,822.
