The firebox hatch and ash pan are located on the front, each side has a large carrying handle ring and sauna stone rack attachment hooks. The chimney port extends 5 cm up from the top of the stove. Air intake is regulated using the ash pan. The legs of the stove are attached via simple pins, and can be removed/collapsed for transport. Be careful not to misplace the pins when packing and setting up the stove! The chimney consists of seven parts, six identical tubular pipe segments and one spark arrestor. These pack inside the stove body and ash pan (together with the stone racks) for transport and storage. The stone racks are a pair of identical steel mesh boxes, which are attached to the hooks on the sides of the stove. After attaching them you fill them and the top of the stove with suitable stones and you’re ready to heat up your sauna tent. Read the user manual before use, follow the instructions and warnings of the user manual when operating the stove. A printed user manual is supplied with the stove.

The Hiisi sauna bench is designed for Savotta tent saunas, foldable for easy transport and storage. One bench can accommodate two bathers. Assembly is quick and easy. The frame part is folded open, which forms the basic structure of the benches, footrests included. The seat is then placed on top of the frame, making the structure more stable. The assembly is secured into place using hook-and-loop straps. One bench is sufficient for the Hiisi 2, the Hiisi 4 accommodates two benches. When using the FDF 10-JSP as a sauna tent you have room for six benches.

The word “hiisi” is ancient Finnish for a holy place, a place of sacrifice or mystical power – the perfect family name for our sauna tents and accessories. The package includes: the tent itself, six corner poles, one centre pole, six stakes, a stake bag, a bag for the complete tent package. Stove and benches are not included, these are sold separately! The Hiisi 4 is built around the basic principles of our field camp tents, corner poles, telescopic centre pole, guy ropes and stakes. The corner poles are inserted into sleeves on the outside of the tent, making the interior a bit less crowded. The ceiling and wall materials are fire retardant for safety, not fireproof though so sparks and flames will burn holes in them so be careful. The interior is large enough to fit two two-person bench and the stove. The rear window provides some light and a chance to peek outside. The entrance is zippered and can be rolled up and secured. A length of cord is attached to the top of the ceiling, this is an attachment point for a sauna thermometer to help you keep track of the temperature and not overheat the tent. The whole set, tent, poles and stakes, pack neatly into a carry bag for transport. Simple shoulder straps allow backpack like carry freeing up your hands for stoves or other accessories.

This stuff is fairly effective and has a very long service life. We checked out some 10+ years old material we had in stock, it performed with roughly 90% the same efficiency as its brand new counterpart. Since the material itself has a very long service life we decided to not just rely on lamination/gluing to keep the photoluminescent material attached to the hook tape. Thus these are also sewn to give them the longest possible service life. This adds significantly to the manufacturing costs, but now we can be sure these won’t delaminate after a few winter/summer cycles of use. This simple kit allows you to create various markings by combining or using the different patches as is. The kit includes two 25 x 25 mm squares, two 20 x 50 mm lines and one 50 x 50 mm square. These allow you to create a number of different combinations, or just mark a lot of different stuff with single patches.

The design of the stove aims at a good weight/durability/function ratio. Despite its light weight the stove can support the weight of a normal coffee pot or a mess kit.
