Paul Paljett och Jag är berättelsen om hur en ung Paul Sahlin från Trollhättan tog sig artistnamnet Paul Paljett och blev en stor popstjärna och tonårsidol i Sverige i slutet av 1970-talet. En låtskrivare och artist som hade mängder av låtar på Svensktoppen, deltog två gånger i Melodifestivalen och fyllde folkparkerna under fem år. Efter tiden som popstjärna blev Paul Sahlin framgångsrik sångare i dansbanden Säwes och Matz Bladhs innan han sadlade om helt och gjorde karriär som begravningsentreprenör och populär solist på begravningar. I boken Paul Paljett och jag skriver han om sin karriär, från första mötet med Bert Karlsson till framgångarna på Svensktoppen, tonårshysterin, planerna på en utlandslansering, när han dansade grekisk zorba med Olof Palme, festade med Village People och gav Björn&Benny nobben. Paul Paljett och Jag är en personlig och ärlig berättelse om framgångar och motgångar, om lycka och drömmar som gick i kras. Men mest om sin livslånga kärlek till musiken. Boken är skriven i samarbete med Claes Salomonsson. Paul Sahlin, mera känd under artistnamnet Paul Paljett, är född i Trollhättan 30 mars 1955. Låtskrivare, sångare och artist som var tonårsidol i Sverige i slutet av 1970-talet för att sedan bli dansbandssångare och populär begravningsentreprenör.
