Peiter, Peter, and Peer, E-bok
We all know that storks bring babies to their parents, what we often do not know is what happens to these children once they have arrived with their family. So, I asked a stork about this and she told me the story of the Peitersen family, to whom she had delivered three sons: Pieter, Peter and Peer.Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) was a Danish author, poet and artist. Celebrated for children’s literature, his most cherished fairy tales include 'The Emperor's New Clothes', 'The Little Mermaid', 'The Nightingale', 'The Steadfast Tin Soldier', 'The Snow Queen', 'The Ugly Duckling' and 'The Little Match Girl'. His books have been translated into every living language, and today there is no child or adult that has not met Andersen's whimsical characters. His fairy tales have been adapted to stage and screen countless times, most notably by Disney with the animated films "The Little Mermaid" in 1989 and "Frozen", which is loosely based on "The Snow Queen", in 2013. Thanks to Andersen's contribution to children's literature, his birth date, April 2, is celebrated as International Children's Book Day.

Peter-Peter, E-bok
Erään rakkauden asiapaperit. Sanna Auhto on pikkukaupungin kirjastonhoitaja, leski ja yksinhuoltaja. Peter Mackus on lääkäri ja runoilija, keski-ikäinen perheenisä. He ovat kumpikin Ruotsissa asuvia ulkomaalaisia. Peter-Peter ilmestyi alun perin vuonna 1971. Siinä kuvattu rakkaustarina on elävä osa Aila Meriluodon kiitettyä päiväkirjateosta Vaarallista kokea. Päiväkirjat vuosilta 1953-1975 (1996).

Peter Halley
Painting as simulation and hyperreality: Peter Halley and the digital age. In the 1980s, Peter Halley revitalised painting by relying on sociology and science fiction. He employed fluorescent colours and Roll-A-Tex to deconstruct early and mid-twentieth-century transcendent geometric abstraction into abstract cells and prisons and by adding conduits to imaginatively access outside forces. Peter Halley has met many challenges posed by the Information Age and French poststructuralism by situating his painting on the divide separating analogue and digital worlds. Robert Hobbs’s monograph analyses Halley’s geometric and highly keyed art in terms of opportunities provided by the Internet, aesthetic possibilities afforded by Photoshop, timely relevance advanced by Michel Foucault’s and Jean Baudrillard’s sociological theories, and conundrums presented by both science fiction and physics.

Peter Artedi
In this attempt to bring together in a single volume all that is known about the Swedish naturalist Peter Artedi, a chronicle of his life is provided, beginning with his early upbringing in the Parish of Anundsj , ngermanland, his school days at H rn sand, his ten years at Uppsala University, his time in England, his life and work in Holland, and ending with his untimely death by drowning in an Amsterdam canal at age 30. Benefiting enormously from an early friendship with the Swedish naturalist Carl Linnaeus, famous for establishing binomial nomenclature, the modern system of naming organisms, the two early on made elaborate plans to classify plants and animals in ways that would later be described as revolutionary. Artedi, being more interested in zoology, took on the fishes, amphibians, and reptiles-as well as the plant family Umbelliferae (Apiaceae), while Linnaeus, who was already by this time working on his sexual system for plants, took all the remaining vegetable kingdom, the
