Buckingham Nicks: Buckingham Nicks
Buckingham Nicks is the only studio album by the iconic duo of Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham. Produced by Keith Olsen, the album was released in September 1973, just a year prior to the pair joining forces with Fleetwood Mac on New Year's Eve 1974.Buckingham Nicks has achieved legendary status despite, and perhaps due to the fact, that it has never been remastered, reissued, or officially released digitally. Until now. This was the album that caught Mick Fleetwood's attention and led them becoming one of the most successful bands of all time.LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM: "I met Mick right before New Year's Eve in 1974. Stevie and I were living in LA. We'd done an album on Polydor as a duo, which had come out without making much of a splash, and we were trying to figure out what the hell to do next. Anyway, we were doing demos of new tunes one day at Sound City studio in the San Fernando Valley. At one point I walked towards the control room. I heard a song of ours, "Frozen Love", being played very loudly and I saw this giant of a man standing up, grooving to a guitar solo of mine. I thought, "What is goin' on?", and left them to it. That man was Mick. When he heard my guitar something obviously clicked in his mind, because after their guitarist Bob Welch left, I got a call from Mick asking if I wanted to join Fleetwood Mac. Originally they weren't looking for a duo, but I said Stevie and I were a package deal."
Buckingham Lindsey: Lindsey Buckingham 2021
Lindsey Buckingham is his first solo release since 2011's Seeds We Sow. As with the seven studio and three live albums he has released as a solo artist beginning with 1981's Law and Order, the new project showcases Buckingham's instinct for melody and his singular fingerpicking guitar style, reaffirming his status as one of the most inventive and electrifying musicians of his generation. Written, produced and recorded by Buckingham at his home studio in Los Angeles, CAThe new album is a welcome display of Buckingham's instantly recognizable guitar work and vocal layering, particularly on songs such as "Power Down," "Scream" and "Swan Song." Elsewhere, Buckingham pays homage to '60s folk group the Pozo-Seco Singers' hit single "Time," a song he's admired since he was as a teenager and has long intended to cover. "I wanted to make a pop album, but I also wanted to make stops along the way with songs that resemble art more than pop," he says. "As you age, hopefully you keep getting a little more grounded in the craft of what you're doing. For me, getting older has probably helped to reinforce the innocence and the idealism that hopefully was always there."Over the last four decades, Buckingham has developed a radical sense of experimentation and an unrivaled savvy as a producer. He first honed these skills as a singer, guitarist, songwriter, producer and the musical visionary of Fleetwood Mac, for which he wrote and produced several Top Ten hits, including "Go Your Own Way," "Tusk" and "Big Love." Under Buckingham's direction, Fleetwood Mac became one of the best-selling and most beloved rock groups of all time. As a solo artist, Buckingham often plays nearly every instrument himself; his complex arrangements and inventive production choices make his solo work thrilling to experience. Earlier this year, he appeared on "Caution," the newest single from the Killers. He remains a highly sought-after collaborator, a maverick and a visionary.

Alexander Cordell
Alexander Cordell was born into a military family in Ceylon and spent much of his youth in the Far East. He worked his way up through the ranks fo the British Army to become a major. To many, he must have seemed the quintessential Englishman, and yet his natural sympathies lay increasingly in Wales, where he came to be adored by the reading public. Indeed, his bestselling novels made Wales known throughout the world. His socialist views were also reflected in the subject matter of the more than twenty books that he wrote. Many of his novels are about Wales and include the immensely popular 'Rape of the Fair Country', 'The Hosts of Rebecca' and 'Song of the Earth'. These are novels which relate evocative tales against the backdrop of early industrial Wales and which succeed both in engaging readers emotionally and in increasing their awareness of the past. This is the first biogrpahy of Alexander Cordell. It is written with energy and imagination by Mike Buckingham and Richard Frame,

His Face like Mine
Have you ever tasted true freedom? Russell Joyce was born with a rare craniofacial disorder called Goldenhar syndrome, where the left side of his face was not formed. Years of patchwork surgeries made him more outwardly presentable, but not without deep pain and physical and emotional scars. But a life-changing encounter broke through to him with a power he never thought possible, in the very place he never thought to look--his broken face. This set Russell on a journey to understand what was hindering him and others from experiencing the power of God's grace and being truly set free. During a season of starting a new church in Brooklyn, New York, he learned how the broken places of our lives can be transformed when Jesus meets us in the realities of our woundedness. God doesn't love us despite our wounds but through those very wounds. By his scars we are healed, and we can find new depths of freedom in Christ, scars and all. A warning: this journey will not be easy. A promise: it
