Bernstein: Mass
Tills allting går sönder - som det gör i den oerhörda scenen mot slutet då altaret välter och sakramenten krossas mot golvet och officianten vänder sig till publiken: "Haven't you ever seen an accident before??...?How easily things get quiet?...?God is very ill?...?We must?...?all be very still?...?His voice?...?has grown so small?...?Almost?...?not there at all?..."
