Livealbumet "Psychopatico" spelades in 1998 på D-A-D´s "Mad Days"-turné på bl.a. Roskilde Festival, Midtfyn och Skanderborg och sänds i november samma år. Året därpå fick de en Grammis för "Årets danska rocksläpp" och Gaffapriset för Årets danska album för Psychopatico". Nu släpps "Psychopatico" för första gången på vinyl, och till och med dubbelvinyl - i remastrad form. Förutom liveinspelningarna innehåller albumet, liksom originalversionen, studiospåret "Jacketless In December", som spelades in samma år.
Martin Scorsese: A Retrospective
Since his emergence in the early seventies, Martin Scorsese has become one of the most respected names in cinema. Classics such as Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Goodfellas are regularly cited as being among the finest films ever made. Born in New York City in 1942 to Sicilian-American parents, Scorsese spent much of his childhood absorbing the sights and sounds of Little Italy from the balcony of his family's tenement apartment - music blaring, drunks brawling and neighbourhood kids playing stickball. A lifelong asthma sufferer, he took no part in his friends' games and instead fell in love with cinema at an early age, crafting intricate storyboards for as-yet-unmade Westerns and Roman epics. This long apprenticeship paid off in 1962 when Scorsese was accepted onto a film course at New York University and immediately attracted attention with a series of quirky and technically accomplished student shorts. This book attempts to address these questions. It is the result of many long years of research, reflection, workshops, classes, and dialogues with students, language teachers, illustrators, and designers. Ἕν, δύο, τρία draws on a new technique for language acquisition developed at the Polis Institute of Jerusalem, Living Sequential Expression (LSE), which was inspired by two ideas of Fran ois Gouin: the influence of sequentiality in the learning process, on the one hand, and the need to express basic human experience through the language being learned, on the other hand. This is why most of the pages of Ἕν, δύο, τρία show sequences of actions to be heard and seen, and to then be enacted and retold by the learner.
