A good silhouette and lots of motion, that’s what these big trout love.

Most of our flies originates from this family, the complex fly with all ingredients. To us these are the most fun to both tie and fish – they are the classics of our time! The Banana Fly concept has been popular ever since Micke Andersson showed the world how good the dirty yellow fly could be. For Mikael personally he fished his Scott and Moonshine flies long before he created this version. We tinted it to the olive side and pimped it a bit classic style with the dyed teal hackle. We prefer to fish this in the humus coloured river when we need a discrete fly to stand out a bit more than my overall favourite Pahtakorva. We seldom fish them bigger than 10 cm or smaller than 4, for us it’s a medium sized fly.

When more colour we do the orange tubing and the gold cone. Over all a fly that works in many places. For salmon, we fish it mostly without the rubber legs, even if they do give the fly extra sound.

At the bend at Vaehaeniva Mikael hooked a great fish, his friend said that if he could hold it in the pool he would eat it raw! He did not have to - the salmon took Mikael down through the pools almost a kilometer before they could land it - it weighted over 40 lbs. A super fly for dusk and dawn. A discrete greenish fly that now is the absolute favourite of some of our closest friends.

Big and bad, this is our number one fly for the dark. With phosphorescent tubing, cone, flash and rubber legs this is the fly for the trickiest salmon. The phosphor will shine up the night and some fish just love it. The darker it gets the better it is. With these materials, you don’t need to load the material with flashlight, they will find enough light to shine. This is also our favourite fly for big fall sea trout.
