At its core, the LS12 features a G2 gearbox with the Nemesis series packaging: a new electronic fire control system, 9mm bushing, 6.03 tight-bore inner barrel, 31K high torque motor and a convenient quick change spring system. The EFCS removes the traditional mechanical trigger contact process when using the flat trigger, with a micro-switch trigger that allows a quicker trigger response and can programme the fire selector for single, three / five round burst, full auto at the users discretion. On stock, the rifle fires around 390fps with 0.2g BBs, and with its new Nemesis motor, able to fire 26rps on the 11.1v Li-Po battery, making this a rifle ready out of the box. Although firing at 390fps, the AEG spring can be quickly changed to meet with field requirements, without having to fully disassemble the LS12 in order to change the spring.
