For Mikael personally he fished his Scott and Moonshine flies long before he created this version. We tinted it to the olive side and pimped it a bit classic style with the dyed teal hackle. We prefer to fish this in the humus coloured river when we need a discrete fly to stand out a bit more than my overall favourite Pahtakorva. We seldom fish them bigger than 10 cm or smaller than 4, for us it’s a medium sized fly.

Windlass Steelcrafts Windlass Classic Medieval Sword
This sword is an Oakeshott Type X with a Type I pommel and a Type VII crossguard. The Oakeshott typology was created by historian and illustrator Ewart Oakeshott as a way to define and catalogue the medieval sword based on physical form. It categorizes the swords of the European Middle Ages (roughly 11th to 15th centuries) into 13 main types labelled X to XXII. Oakeshott introduced it in his treatise The Archaeology of Weapons: Arms and Armour from Prehistory to the Age of Chivalry in 1960. The system is a continuation of Jan Petersen's typology of the Viking sword, introduced in De Norske Vikingsverd ("The Norwegian Viking Swords", 1919), modified in 1927 by R. E. M. Wheeler into a typology of nine types labelled I to IX. The long and wide fuller on this blade lightens the overall sword and make it possible to deliver fast and shearing cuts, capable of cutting through the mail and padding that were worn during the period. The long guard offers good protection from an opponent's shield or blade, while the classic wheel pommel brings the sword very nicely into balance. Pahtakorva’s colourful cousin! When the river get a bit more than tea colour to it - this is so deadly. A pattern many should fish more often. It got its name from The Nedre Sierra Pool on the Alta where it has taken a few fat ones. We love this fly, one we think is beautiful and that works so well in the humus colour. We fish it often in medium sizes down to 4 cm.

Simpler than classics but even more effective, the movement of fibers and a translucent appearance that gives the fly life. We also present two zonkers, cut with the right tapering and pimped with a sweeping heron hackle—truly irresistible. Lastly, our little shrimp fly has proven effective on the coast and in clear rivers. In a way this odd little fly can look quite like an ugly creature, but as we say the most beautiful fly is the one in the corner of the mouth of that desirable fish. We have caught so many nice sea trout on this little shrimp. Mostly on the coast but also for the fresh run early running fat fish. The ostrich will slim down to a durable extremely lively looking hackle. Fish it slow it will be extremely seductive.

Since we first wound a heron hackle, we fell in love with the graceful spey fly. Simpler than classics but even more effective, the movement of fibers and a translucent appearance that gives the fly life. We also present two zonkers, cut with the right tapering and pimped with a sweeping heron hackle—truly irresistible. Lastly, our little shrimp fly has proven effective on the coast and in clear rivers. In a way this odd little fly can look quite like an ugly creature, but as we say the most beautiful fly is the one in the corner of the mouth of that desirable fish. We have caught so many nice sea trout on this little shrimp. Mostly on the coast but also for the fresh run early running fat fish. The ostrich will slim down to a durable extremely lively looking hackle. Fish it slow it will be extremely seductive.

The Banana Fly concept has been popular ever since Micke Andersson showed the world how good the dirty yellow fly could be. For Mikael personally he fished his Scott and Moonshine flies long before he created this version. We tinted it to the olive side and pimped it a bit classic style with the dyed teal hackle. We prefer to fish this in the humus coloured river when we need a discrete fly to stand out a bit more than my overall favourite Pahtakorva. We seldom fish them bigger than 10 cm or smaller than 4, for us it’s a medium sized fly.

Pahtakorva’s colourful cousin! When the river get a bit more than tea colour to it - this is so deadly. A pattern many should fish more often. It got its name from The Nedre Sierra Pool on the Alta where it has taken a few fat ones. We love this fly, one we think is beautiful and that works so well in the humus colour. We fish it often in medium sizes down to 4 cm.
