Neil Young's Face - A Novel About Growing Old

In search of a meaningful old age This book is meant to be a printed road movie, where the images are created inside the readers head. The main character is Kurt Andersson, who is 72 years old and from Sweden. When he was young he wanted to be a journalist, but then he got a big forest farm. He travels around the USA from the east to the west and back again in the fall of 2016. His goal is to, with the help of all the people he meets, find ideas to make his old age not only bearable, but also fun and meaningful. The title of this book is inspired by Neil Young, who is Kurts idol. During his more than 50 years as an artist he has always prioritized the music and the lyrics before being fancy on stage. He continues to make vibrant music with meaningful lyrics also after passing his 70th birthday.
