After French reporter Elsa (Kruger) is taken hostage by insurgents working for Taliban leader Zaief (Raz Degan), a rescue team of commandos led by Kovax (Djimon Hounsou) is parachuted into enemy territory. All goes surprisingly well, with the team members managing to locate and free Elsa without many mishaps.
