After closing down the American electrical grid, militant North Koreans fly into the United States with the intent of gaining control of the entire country, but when US Marine Jed Eckert (Chris Hemsworth) realises what is happening he gathers a small group together, including his brother Matt (Josh Peck), at his father's log cabin in the woods.
