Ruben Nilson (1893-1971) är en av vårt lands främsta visdiktare. Hans vistexter är både underfundiga, humoristiska och inte sällan samhällskritiska. Ruben var även bildkonstnär och karikatyrtecknare och deltog i olika utställningar, bland annat på Liljewalchs i början av 1930-talet.
