Designed for unobtrusive wear under body armour, thus the low profile and lack of padding. The intersection on the back is made from elastic cord which offers generous and adjustable elasticity. An elastic belt harness is generally best for lighter loads, as elasticity (although it offers additional comfort) may sag under heavy weight. We also offer a non-elastic harness model, the Valjas H-harness, for those looking to carry heavier loads. The 25 mm (1”) lengths of webbing are long enough to fit most people. The open-end design with tri-glide buckles allows the straps to be attached directly to belts by simply looping the webbing around the belt, or to buckles, D-rings or loops of elastic cord if so preferred by the user.
